It's encouraging see your progress as another self-taught seamstress, and your style is so fun. :)Elysahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17027376326418623017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8269882852587599224.post-71433111148527197782011-07-24T02:43:13.628+01:002011-07-24T02:43:13.628+01:00The dress is lovely on you. I like your variation using the circle skirt, very sleek in the middle.kbencohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00885068563358776147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8269882852587599224.post-80909235587340506392011-07-23T07:41:13.351+01:002011-07-23T07:41:13.351+01:00Love it, I just finished a version of this dress (...Love it, I just finished a version of this dress (which I haven't got photos of yet!) but I made a plain gathered skirt but I think a circle skirt would work so much better for exactly the reasons you mention, there's a lot of bulk at the waist but its not quite as twirly as I would like. Maybe my next version! I love the sleeves as they feel a little more grown up and dressy than a simple vest/tank-top but not too OTT.Louisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01678844479227148173noreply@blogger.com
